This Mascot Illustration project is for creating an characters for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. The chosen mascots, Gully the seagull and Teyo the coyote, were designed to embody the host city's characteristics and cultural heritage. Gully symbolizes LA's coastal identity and iconic beaches, while Teyo represents the coyote's successful adaptation to the massive metropolis. The characters were rendered in two poses, standing and playing a sport, and were branded with red, white, and blue accents, referencing the American flag on their uniforms. The project concluded with applying the illustrations to commercial merchandise mockups, including a sticker and shopping bags.
